   PECOS — Irene B. Alba, 70, a homemaker, died Thursday, March 11,
                   1999, at Sunrise Healthcare and Rehab.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel
   with Bishop John Swanson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood
               Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
              She was born in Del Rio, Texas. She was Mormon.
    SURVIVORS: Sons, David Alba of El Paso, Humberto Alba of San Diego,
    Armando Alba of Sullivan and Mario Alba of Pecos; daughters, Anna C.
   Lewis of Amarillo, Gloria Rubio of Midland and Irene Alba of Pecos; 25
                grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
                                      
                             Jesus Ornelas Sr.
     PECOS — Jesus (Chuy) Aguilar Ornelas Sr., 71, died Thursday,
               March 11, 1999, at the Reeves County Hospital.
    Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Pecos Funeral Home Chapel
    and Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Catholic
    Church. Burial will follow at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements
                        made by Pecos Funeral Home.
               He was born in Presidio, and he was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Mercedes Quintana Ornelas of Pecos; sons, Raymundo Q.
   Ornelas of Odessa, Oscar Q. Ornelas of Pecos and Ricardo Q. Ornelas of
   Laredo; daughters, Lupe O. Machuca of Midland, Angelina O. Sanchez of
       Pecos and Lydia O. Prieto of Pecos; brother, David Ornelas of
    Balmorhea; sisters, Virginia O. Carrasco of Pecos and Carmen Sanchez
        of Balmorhea; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                 Lola Wells
    BROWNWOOD — Lola Mae Wells, 64, of Bangs, died Thursday, March
                           11, 1999, at her home.
   Services will be at 4 p.m. today at the Davis-Morris Funeral Home with
    the Rev. Art Allen officiating. Burial will be at Tamerick Cemetery.
                 Arrangements by Davis-Morris Funeral Home.
                She was born in Owens, and she was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Mother, Elsie Hartman of Early; sons, Ronnie Wells of
       Casper, Wyo., Alvin Wells of Monahans and John Wells of Early;
    daughters, Allie Whorton of Mendin, La., Lou Ann Hodges of Bangs and
    Jeannie Weldon of Early; brothers, Joyce Dean Heard of Mendin, La.,
   Bobby Heard, Lonnie Heard and George Heard, all of Early, Eddie Heard
      of Van Horn and Mickie Heard of Frisco; 23 grandchildren and 12
                            great-grandchildren.
