He was born in Cleveland, Okla., was a longtime resident of Odessa and moved to Thonotonassa from California 22 years ago. SURVIVORS: Wife, Nova Batson of Thonotosassa, Fla.; daughters, Sandra Rainey of Benbrook and Linda Stoker of El Paso; son, William Leon Batson of Hobbs, N.M., and Bobby Joe Batson of Cedar Creek; sister, Evelyn Johnson of Caney, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Travis Bentley ANDREWS — Travis W. Bentley, 70, of Big Spring, a retired air conditioner repairman, died Monday, March 15, 1999, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Big Spring. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Andrews North Cemetery with the Rev. David Humber officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. He was born in Snyder. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
