                               Frances Brooks
    COLORADO CITY — Frances Brooks, 69, of Colorado City, a retired
   secretary and homemaker, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, in an Abilene
                                 hospital.
     Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Westbrook First Baptist Church
   with the Revs. Jim Mosely and Orvel Brantley officiating. Burial will
     be at Loraine Cemetery. Arrangements by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
    She was born in Mitchell County and was a lifelong resident. She was
                                  Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Son, Robert W. Brooks Jr. of Lubbock; daughters, Irene
   McDonald of Alvord, Judy Graniczny of Decatur, Anita Molina of Odessa
   and Anne Lee of Briscoe; brothers, Elmer Miles of North Richland Hills
    and James Miles of Jal, N.M.; sister, Helen Morgan of Colorado City;
               10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Tomas Rodriguez
   IRAAN — Tomas Rodriguez, 70, of Iraan, a landscaper, died Monday,
    April 12, 1999, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
   Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the
   Rev. Barry McLean officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at
    Richard W. Box Funeral Home. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral
                                   Home.
                 He was born in Sheffield. He was Catholic.
     SURVIVORS: Daughters, Debbie Ramirez and Tommie Quintero, both of
   Iraan, and Delia Armendarez of Rankin; stepdaughters, Bertha Dominguez
    of Fort Stockton and Linda Soto of Iraan; son, Enrique Rodriguez of
   Big Spring; brother, E.C. Rodriguez of Sheffield; stepbrothers, Leroy
   Salinas of Rankin and Jimmy Salinas of Iraan; 26 grandchildren; and 24
                            great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Trueman Simon
    BIG SPRING — Trueman Leroy Simon, 75, of Big Spring, a retired
    service station owner and truck driver, died Monday, April 12, 1999,
                         at a Big Spring hospital.
   Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle &
                            Welch Funeral Home.
   He was born in Hays County. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He
                                was Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Sons, Larry Simon of Odessa, Leroy Simon of Kermit and
    Robert Simon of Colorado City; daughters, Trudy Crawford of Kermit,
      Barbara Wren of Mooresville, N.C., and Ora Molinar of Monahans;
     brothers, Jessie Welch Simon of Keller and Kenneth Simon of Haltom
   City; sisters, Gloria Palen and Mamie Alice White, both of Jewett; 12
               grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Norman Witcher
    AMARILLO — "Jack" Norman L. Witcher, 78, of Amarillo, owner of
          W.W. Electric, died Friday, April 9, 1999, in Amarillo.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Central Church of Christ Chapel
      with Dick Marcear and Carroll Thomason. Burial will be at Llano
       Cemetery. Arrangements by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors.
   He was born in Lockney and was a 40-year resident of Amarillo. He was
                     a member of the Church of Christ.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, June Witcher of Amarillo; sons, Norman Witcher of
   Odessa and Jim Witcher of Tucumcari, N.M.; daughter, Bennie Jo Choate
      of Childress; stepdaughter, Norma Gist of Lubbock; brothers, Jim
     Witcher of Amarillo and Alva Witcher of Littlefield; sister, Areda
    Turner of Littlefield; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Adan Flores
   ODESSA — Adan Flores, 76, of Odessa died Monday, April 12, 1999,
                    at Van Care Hospital in Fort Worth.
   Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
