April 23, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Mary Benton ODESSA — Mary Benton, 75, of Odessa, a retired bookkeeper, died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tracy Wilson officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Duncan Memorial Cemetery in Duncan, Okla. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Comanche, Okla. She was Methodist. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Susan Glass of Odessa; son Rocky Benton of Odessa; sisters, Wanda Hood of Duncan, Okla., and Vada Caruthers of El Paso; and four grandchildren. Nancy Craighead MORTON — Nancy Lou Green Craighead, 63, of Morton, a secretary, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Services will also be at 10 a.m. Monday at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel in Vernon with the Rev. Danny Jackson officiating. Burial will be at Wilbarger memorial Park in Vernon. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. She was born in Vernon and moved to Morton in 1989 from Booker. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Husband, Carl H. Craighead of Morton; daughter, Drucilla Ann Cockrell of Higgins; sons, Stephen Carl Craighead of Vernon and Jay Craighead of Andrews; sisters, Helen Lambert of Vernon and Jerry Nethery of Iowa Park; brother, Ernest Alan Green of Wichita Falls; and five grandchildren. Cecil Hines ODESSA — Cecil T. Hines, 83, of Odessa died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at Medical center Hospital. No services are scheduled. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Haskell County and moved to Odessa in 1948 from Abilene. He was a Navy veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Lorene Hines of Odessa; daughters, Randi Mayes of Austin and Elizabeth West of San Antonio; sisters, Gladys Martin of Stamford, Pauline Couch of Haskell and Billie Valentine of Austin; and three grandchildren. Kathleen Warren ANDREWS — Kathleen Warren, 75, of Andrews, a retired beauty shop owner, died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at her residence.
