                              Joseph Campbell
                                      
     FORT STOCKTON — Joseph Delton Campbell, 82, of Fort Stockton,
    owner and operator of Spanish Trail Lodge, died Thursday, April 29,
               1999, at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
                                      
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Northside Baptist Church with
     the Rev. M.W. "Skip" Bill officiating. Burial will be at East Hill
           Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
                                      
    He was born in Stephenville and moved to Fort Stockton in 1932 from
                           Crane. He was Baptist.
                                      
     SURVIVORS: Wife, Johnnie Campbell of Fort Stockton; sons, Joe Del
      Campbell of Burton and Lance Marshall Campbell of Fort Stockton;
   daughter, Rose Marie Lloyd of Fort Stockton; sister, Martha Brazell of
         Odessa; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
                                      
                              Stephen Chesney
                                      
   ODESSA — Stephen Sorrells Chesney, 17, of Odessa, a Permian High
      School student, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at Medical Center
                                 Hospital.
                                      
   Services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Immanuel Baptist Church with
      the Rev. J.D. O’Neal officiating. Burial will be at Sunset
    Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
                                      
                          He was born in Andrews.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Mother and stepfather, Vickie and Billie Rose of Odessa;
   father, Robert Chesney Sr. of Broken Bow, Okla.; grandparents, Kenneth
   and Patricia Lane of Odessa, Joyce Hix of Apache, Okla., Glade Chesney
   of Cache, Okla., Maxine Page of Odessa; four brothers, Jimmy Sorrells
     of Odessa, Michael Sorrells of Ennis, Robert Chesney Jr. and Chaz
                        Chesney of Broken Bow, Okla.
                                      
                                  Roy Karr
                                      
   ODESSA — Roy Franklin Karr Jr., 81, of Odessa, owner of RFK Inc.,
               died Friday, April 30, 1999, at his residence.
                                      
     Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the
                    Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating.
                                      
    Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W.
                         Wilson Funeral Directors.
                                      
    He was born in Muskogee, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1941. He was
                                  Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Nancy Karr of Odessa; sons, Roy Karr III of Odessa
       and James Richard Karr of Waco; five grandchildren; and three
                            great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Ruthe Sherrill
                                      
       PECOS — Ruthe S. Sherrill, 72, of Pecos, a retired office
          manager, died Friday, April 29, 1999, at her residence.
                                      
   Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Presbyterian Church with the
                        Rev. Jim Miles officiating.
                                      
     Burial will be at Mount Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
             She was born in Archer City. She was Presbyterian.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Kim Stubblefield and Kery Stubblefield, both of
         Wink; and a son, Clayton "Clay" Stubblefield of Dennison.
                                      
                                John McAhon
                                      
   ODESSA — John Fay McAhon, 54, of Odessa died Thursday, April 29,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
        Services are pending with Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
