                                Rene Arthur
     ANDREWS — Rene Arthur, 71, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 1,
                            1999, in Galveston.
   Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with
   the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
              She was born in Shamrock, Okla. She was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, Alen Arthur of Andrews and Ron Arthur of Yukon,
   Okla.; daughter, Carlotta South of Galveston; brothers, Dillard Tucker
   of Yukon, Okla., and Joseph Tucker of Granbury; 12 grandchildren; and
                         seven great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                 Flora Pyle
    MIDLAND — Flora A. Pyle, 90, died Friday, April 30, 1999, at a
                            local nursing home.
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with
     the Rev. Roland Morgan officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral
                                   Home.
                 She was born in Saragosa. She was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Son, Billy Pyle of Odessa; sisters, Ethelyn Howell of
   Arlington and Belle Ray of Marble Falls; four grandchildren; and three
                            great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Cappy Basden
   ODESSA — Cappy M. Basden, 82, died Saturday, May 1, 1999, at her
                                 residence.
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens
         with the Rev. Emmett Barnard officiating. Arrangements by
                        Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    She was born in Broken Bow, Okla.. She was a longtime member of the
              Memorial Center Hospital Women’s Auxiliary.
     SURVIVORS: Daughters, Alta B. Reese and Huetta M. Barnett, both of
    Odessa; brothers, Walter Hagans and Jack Hagans, both of Las Vegas,
             Nev.; and sister, Joyce Reyes of Oak View, Calif.
                                      
                              Efren Hernandez
    MCCAMEY — Efren Hernandez, 43, of McCamey died Saturday, May 1,
                        1999, in a McCamey hospital.
     Services are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Home in McCamey.
