May 12, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Ernesto Rivera MARFA — Ernesto Magllanes Rivera, 84, of Eldorado, a retired employee of the Texas Department of Transportation, died Saturday, May 8, 1999, at Angelo Community Hospital in San Angelo. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Demetrio Ponce officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Fort Davis. Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Marfa and had lived in Fort Davis for 63 years. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, Ernesto Rivera Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., and Ruben Rivera of Uvalde; daughter, Annie Lou Arispe of Eldorado; sisters, Consuelo Rivera of Marfa and Esperanza McDonald of Lordsburg, N.M.; 11 grandchildren; three adopted grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Kenneth Tudor MIDLAND — Kenneth Tudor, 74, of Midland, retired owner of Economy Supply, died Monday, May 10, 1999, at a local hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert Kirk officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home. He was born in Lubbock and moved to Midland in 1948. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
