He was born in Big Spring. He was a retired veteran of the Air Force. Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. SURVIVORS: Wife, Donna Ewell of San Angelo; sons, Lawrence Ewell of San Angelo and Lelan Ewell of Tulsa, Okla.; daughter, Debora Love of San Angelo; mother, Volena Ewell of Odessa; sister, Billie Underwood of Odessa; and four grandchildren.
