May 21, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Eddie Green ODESSA — Eddie Mary Green, 62, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, in Gainesville. Services will be at noon today at Martinez Funeral Home with the Rev. William Tatum officiating. Burial will be at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. She was born in Glen Flora. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Marilyn Foster of Gainesville and Mae Phillips of Odessa; sisters, Carolyn Templeton and Shirley Bryant, both of Odessa; brothers, Ray Charles Ellis of Dallas and James Ellis Jr. of Odessa; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Saxton Sides MIDLAND — Saxton Sides, 75, of Odessa, a retired owner of Crane Communications, died Monday, May 17, 1999, at his residence. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 19, 1999. Burial was at Resthaven Cemetery. Services were by Richard W. Box Funeral Home. He was born in Palo Pinta County and had lived in Odessa for four years. He was a World War II Navy veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Nita Sides of Odessa; daughters, Karen Starks of Fort Worth, Carolyn Pauree of San Antonio, Virginia Reed, Barbara Whittaker and Wanda Bargsley, all of Odessa; sister, Louise Muerer of Crane; brother, Maxwell Sides of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Clarence Rochen PECOS — Clarence C. Rochen, 76, of Pecos, a retired plant foreman, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at Reeves County Hospital. Services will be at 9 a.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fickenscher officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Rosenburg. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. He was born in Orchard and lived in Pecos since 1971. He was a World War II veteran in the Army Air Forces. SURVIVORS: Wife, Dora Rochen of Pecos; son, Ken Rochen of Lubbock; daughters, Jackie Warren of Pecos and Brenda Archie of Clarksville, Ind.; sister, Delores Matej of Orchard; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
