He was born in Claude and he was a Presbyterian. Helen Chaffin MARFA — Helen B. Chaffin, 88, of Odessa, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999, at an Odessa retirement center. Services were held Saturday at First Baptist Church and burial followed at Marfa Cemetery. Arrangements made by Memorial Funeral Home. She was born in Marfa and was Baptist. Silvestre Holguin FORT STOCKTON — Silvestre J. Holguin, 94, a retired truck driver, died Friday, May 21, 1999, in Odessa. Rosary will be said at 7 tonight at the Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Jere Richardson MCCAMEY — Jere Jones Richardson, 63, a homemaker, of Big Spring died Friday, May 21, 1999, at a Big Spring nursing home. Graveside services were held Saturday at Resthaven Cemetery.
