                                 Gene Curd
    ODESSA — Gene Curd, 52, a truck driver, died Saturday, May 22,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
   Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Hubbard-Kelly Chapel
     with the Rev. Jim Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset
     Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
    He was born in Bonanza, Ark., and had lived in Odessa since 1946. He
                was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Brenda Curd of Odessa; sons, Stephen E. Curd of
    Dallas and Wesley D. Curd of Odessa; mother, Kattie Curd of Odessa;
                          and three grandchildren.
                                      
                               Cliff Crawford
   ODESSA — Cliff E. Crawford, 63, of Odessa died Saturday, May 22,
                          1999, at his residence.
   Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Frank W. Wilson Funeral
    Directors Chapel with the Rev. John A. Lyons officiating. Interment
    services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holt Cemetery. Arrangements
                 made by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
      He was born in Menard and had lived in Odessa since 1961. He was
                                  Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Andrea Crawford of Odessa; sons, H. Wayne Crawford of
     Iraan and John C. Crawford of Odessa; brothers, Wayne Crawford of
      Arkansas, Ray Crawford of Brownwood and Dale Crawford of Brady;
         sister, Marie Beasley of San Saba; and four grandchildren.
                                      
                               Carlos Fierro
     PECOS — Carlos C. Fierro, 82, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at
                          Reeves County Hospital.
      Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the Pecos Funeral Home
     Chapel and Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Santa Rosa
         Catholic Church. Arrangements made by Pecos Funeral Home.
          He was a lifelong resident of Pecos and he was Catholic.
   SURVIVORS: Wife, Reynalda D. Fierro of Pecos; sons, Manuel Fierro and
   Victor Fierro, both of Odessa; daughters, Mary Brown of Tucson, Ariz.,
    Elena Fierro of Pecos and Vickey Munoz of Odessa; 13 grandchildren;
                        and 30 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                           Theodore Hollinsworth
     ODESSA — Theodore Hollinsworth, 86, an oil company executive,
    died Friday, May 21, 1999, at his residence. Graveside services will
   be held at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made
                       by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
       He was born in Fort Worth and had lived in Odessa since 1956.
     SURVIVORS: Daughter, Lu Ann Hollinsworth of Sedona, Ariz.; and one
                                grandchild.
                                      
                                Roy Johnson
    ODESSA — Roy J. Johnson, 85, co-founder of Johnson Brothers Oil
            Co., died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at his residence.
    Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Belmont Baptist Church
    with the Rev. Rex Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset
     Memorial Gardens. Arrangements made by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
               He was born in Coffman County and was Baptist.
    SURVIVORS: Sons, Jack Johnson of Midland and Bill Johnson of Odessa;
    daughter, Doris Nichols of Odessa; stepdaughter, Flo Nell Ingram of
   Odessa; brother, Herbert Johnson of Odessa; sisters, Bernice Meeks of
    Bakersfield, Calif. and Louise Bible of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren;
                        and 12 great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Alene Smith
    PECOS — Alene Smith, 71, died Thursday, May 20, 1999, at Reeves
                              County Hospital.
    Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel and
    burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery. Arrangements made by Pecos
                               Funeral Home.
          She was born in Nacogdoches County and she was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Son, Jesse Lee Ephriam of Pecos; daughter, Lawanda Lamb of
    Kennard; brothers, Robert Lee Walker of Stafford and Preston Wilkins
   of Lubbock; sisters, Vna Faye Terry of Pecos and Velma Jane Hundley of
          Killene; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
                                      
                                Royce Purvis
     ODESSA — Royce C. Purvis, 73, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at
                          Medical Center Hospital.
   Arrangements pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
