June 03, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Edward Moon KERRVILLE — Edward Dean Moon, 80, of Kerrville, a retired oil field pumper, died Wednesday, June 2, 1999, in a Kerrville hospital. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Taylor officiating. Arrangements by Grimes Funeral Chapers of Kerrville. He was born in Loupe and was a 15-year resident of Kerrville. He worked in Odessa for more than 20 years. He was an Army veteran. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: daughter, Linda Bowman of Kerrville; and two grandchildren. Jesus Rivera EL TERRERO, MEXICO — Jesus Manuel Rivera, 42, of Lubbock, owner of J.R. Shoe Repair, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at Covenant Health Systems in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Griffin Funeral Home in Hobbs N.M. Graveside services will be held at a later date in El Terrero, Mexico. He was born in Mexico.
