                                Ester Jordan
      ODESSA — Ester Jordan, 98, of Odessa, a retired nurse, died
                    Thursday, June 24, 1999, in Odessa.
        Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at John-Ridouts Chapel in
     Birmingham, Ala. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
                   Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
           She was born in Blockton, Ala., and was Presbyterian.
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Marilyn Henderson of Birmingham, Ala.; sister,
             Eloise Dean of Birmingham; and two grandchildren.
                                      
                               Paula Peacock
    MALAKOFF — Paula Peacock, 47, of Malakoff, died Thursday, June
                    24, 1999 at Cedar Lake Nursing Home.
    Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tomlinson Funeral Home with the
   Rev. Casey Perry officiating. Arrangements by Tomlinson Funeral Home.
                She was born in Big Spring and was Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Mother, Helen A. Peacock of Trinidad; daughter, Melinda
   Blanton of Malakoff; son Shane Walden and wife Brandy of New Orleans,
     La.; sister, Cindy Wright of Rowlett; brother, Larry M. Peacock of
                                 Decateur.
                                      
                              Guadalupe Urias
     FORT. STOCKTON — Guadalupe Urias, 85, of Fort. Stockton died
   Friday, June 25, 1999 at his residence. Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m.
   Monday at the Fort. Stockton Funeral Home with the Rev. David Herrera
            officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
                 Arrangements by Ft. Stockton Funeral Home.
            She was born in San Diego, Calif., and was Catholic.
      SURVIVORS: Daughters, Josefa Sales of Hanford, Calif., Esperanza
   Gonzales of Visalia, Calif., Juanita Castro of Fort. Stockton, Amparo
    Granado of Fort. Stockton, Lydia Marquez of Fort. Stockton, Frances
     Ramirez of Midland, Eva Gonzales of Midland; son, Alfredo Urias of
   Fort. Stockton; sister, Doloris Deanda of Crane; 47 grandchildren; and
                          115 great grandchildren.
                                      
                               Willie Hopper
   GARDENDALE — Willie Hopper, 80, of Gardendale died Saturday, June
                           26, 1999 in Levelland.
   Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery
           in Midland with the Rev. Carlton Leonard officiating.
                           He was born in Cisco.
   SURVIVORS: Son, Jim Hopper of Gardendale; daughter, Juneta Mitchell of
     Levelland; brothers, Tommy Hopper of Portersville, Calif., Johnny
     Hopper of Marion, Ohio; sisters, Liz McCurdy of Midland, Lila Mae
         Steely of Potersville, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 13
                            great-grandchildren.
