Services will be at noon Saturday at Greater St. John Baptist Church with the Rev. Jasper Williams officiating. Burial will be in Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. He was born in Chilton and lived in Odessa for 58 years. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Mary Jean Moten of Odessa; son, Ronnie Earl Moten of Odessa; and sister, Juritha Jean Rand of Odessa. Averill Rhodes LEANDER — Averill Alger "A.A." Rhodes, 81, of Cedar Park, a retired employee of Phillips Petroleum, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, at Cedar Park. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Leander Church of Christ with Bill Snow officiating. Burial will be in Bagdad Cemetery. Arrangements by Beck Funeral Home of Austin. He was born in Yale, Okla., He was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Son, Dusty Rhodes of Georgetown; daughters, Teresa Ford of Odessa, Sandra McCullough of Corsicana, Wanda Howell of Abilene and Brenda McLendron-Loper of Austin; brothers, C.M. Rhodes of Muskogee, L.D. Rhodes Jr. of Pauls Valley and Riley Rhodes of Yukon; sister, Helen Simms of Waco; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Teresa Smith ODESSA — Teresa Smith, 51, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, July 5, 1999, at Seabury Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. She was born in El Paso and lived in Odessa for 6 months. SURVIVORS: Son, Ramon Chavana of Odessa; daughters, Terry Delao, Sunshine Smith, Sue Ellen Smith and Samantha Smith, all of Odessa; and one grandchild. Mark Smith JOHNSON CITY — Mark Smith, 30, of Austin, died Sunday, July 4, 1999, in Johnson City.
