She was born in Fredonia and had lived in Monahans since 1948. She was Methodist. Jane Kantor ANDREWS — Jane Kantor, 70, of Andrews, a retired lab technician and licensed vocational nurse, died Sunday, July 18, 1999, at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. James Bridges and the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews North Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. She was born in Hastings, Neb., and moved to Andrews in 1971 from Blair, Neb. She was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Husband, Dr. John Kantor of Andrews; sons, John R. O’Dell, 89, of Corpus Christi, a homemaker, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Northwest Regional Hospital in Corpus Christi. She was born in Callahan County. She and her husband owned O’Dell’s Groceries, Bob’s Used Furniture and Appliances as well as Bob’s Place in Andrews. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Gayle Graham of Corpus Christi; son, Robert D. O’Dell of Irmo, S.C.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Lloyd T. Waits LUBBOCK — Lloyd T. Waits, 69, of Odessa, a retired railroad engineer, died Monday, July 19, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. No services will be held. He was born in Chickasha, Okla. He was Pentecostal. He was a Mason.
