                              Carmen H. Nunez
     GREENWOOD — Carmen H. Nunez, 71, of Pecos, a homemaker, died
                   Saturday, July 31, 1999, at her home.
     Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Santa Rosa Catholic
     Church in Pecos. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. at Pecos Funeral
     Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by
                            Pecost Funeral Home.
             She was born in Juarez, Mexico. She was Catholic.
     SURVIVORS: Husband, Manuel F. Nunez of Pecos; sons, Pedro Nunez of
    Pecos and Francisco Nunez of Odessa; daughters, Gloria Gonzales and
    Maria Nunez, both of Pecos, Ortencia Galindo of Odessa, and Yolanda
      Villalobos of Barstow; brother, Donaciono Hernandez of El Paso;
       sisters, Martha Hernandez of California and Alicia Terrazas of
           Midland; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

     ODESSA — Ken Arends, 47, of Abilene, formerly of Odessa, died
        Saturday, July 31, 1999, at Abilene Regional Medical Center.
          Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
