August 09, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Charles Carlton FORT DAVIS — Charles Earnest Carlton, 93, of Fort Worth, a retired grocery store operator, died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, at Stonegate Nursing Home in Fort Worth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Fort Davis with the Rev. Jim Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Arrangements by Thompson’s Harveson & Cole. He was born in Fort Davis. He was Presbyterian. SURVIVORS: Wife, Clara Carlton of Fort Davis; daughters, Kay Roberts of Fort Worth and Ellen Daniels of Saginaw; sons, Charles Carlton Jr. of Lincoln, Neb., and Robert Carlton of Georgetown; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Frances Mitchell ANDREWS — Frances Johns Mitchell, 56, of Lubbock, a licensed vocational nurse, died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, at her home in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Bobby Plunkett officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West Cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home. She was born in Ben Wheeler. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Lorrie Gray of Lubbock and Melissa Gutierrez of Andrews; son, Kenneth Mitchell of Andrews; brother, Jimmy Johns of Van; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Joseph Trejo PECOS — Joseph Trejo, 7 months old, of Carrolton died Friday, Aug. 6, 1999, at Midland Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Primera Iglesia Baustia in Pecos. A prayer service will be at 6 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Fairview Babyland Cemetery in Pecos. He was Baptist.
