                               Sherry Chaffin
     ABILENE — Sherry Eason Chaffin, 64, died Wednesday, Aug. 11,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
   Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Memorial Park
       with the Rev. H.B. Terry officiating. Funeral arrangements by
                        Elliot-Hamil Funeral Homes.
               She was born in Taylor County and was Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Husband, Jim Chaffin of Odessa; son, Brad Chaffin of
         Odessa; daughter, Pamela Clark of Memphis, Tenn.; and five
                               grandchildren.
                                      
                               Fate Chandler
   ABILENE — Fate Milford Chandler, 83, a heavy equipment operator,
            died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, at his Odessa residence.
   Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes
   Chapel of Faith. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park. Funeral
                arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Homes.
                           He was born in Vashti.
    SURVIVORS: Sons, Clyde Milford Chandler of Bridgeport and Ricky Lynn
    Chandler of Odessa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Alvis Glaspy
   ODESSA — Alvis W. (Al) Glaspy, 75, a salesman, died Friday, Aug.
                   13, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
   Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the
   Rev. Eric Seay officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
                Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
                He was born in Clarksville and was Baptist.
   SURVIVORS: Daughters, Gae Glaspy and Ann Bird, both of Odessa, and Sue
    Adcock of Cedar Hill; sister, Lucille Worthy of Greenville; and four
                               grandchildren.
                                      
                                Inez Hubbard
   ODESSA — Inez Marie Hubbard, 79, a homemaker, died Saturday, Aug.
                        14, 1999, at her residence.
   Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Frank W. Wilson
    Funeral Directors with the Rev. Danny Willis officiating. Interment
    will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by Frank W.
                         Wilson Funeral Directors.
     She was born in Santa Anna and had been a resident of Odessa since
                           1945. She was Baptist.
     SURVIVORS: Daughter, Earlene Barnes; sons, Maurice Hubbard, Larry
    Hubbard, Freddie Hubbard, Milton Hubbard, and Leslie Hubbard, all of
   Odessa; sister, Geraldine Thompson of Marble Falls; 16 grandchildren;
                       and eight great-grandchildren.
                                      
                               Manuel Sanchez
   IMPERIAL — Manuel L. Sanchez, 48, a plant operator, died Sunday,
                              August 15, 1999.
   Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Monday, and Mass will be celebrated 3 p.m.
    Tuesday, at the Old Imperial Community Center. Burial will be at the
     Imperial Cemetery Tuesday with the Rev. Robert Chukwu officiating.
       He was born in Sinton and was a lifelong resident of Coyanosa.
    SURVIVORS: Wife, Josie Sanchez of Coyanosa; daughters, Mary Sanchez
   and Elizabeth Sanchez, both of Coyanosa; mother, Guadalupe Sanchez of
    Coyanosa; brothers, Joel Ramirez of Coyanosa, Ralph Galvan of Odessa
              and Romeo Sanchez of Pecos; and three grandsons.
                                      
                             Mozelle Whittaker
     ODESSA — Mozelle Hamilton Whittaker, 83, a civil servant died
             Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at a local nursing home.
       Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, 1999, at Sunset
   Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
                         She was born in Frankston.
   SURVIVORS: Husband, Fred Whittaker of Odessa; sisters, Verna Wright of
                   Indiana and Julia Olson of California.
