Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Restlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. She was born in Pine Point, Minn., and moved to Abilene from La Mesa, Calif. Margie Ellis SNYDER — Margie Lou Ellis, 77, of Lubbock, a seamstress, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999, at Covenant Healthcare in Lubbock after a lengthy illness. Services were Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Tom Holcomb officiating. Burial was at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. She was born in Emory. She was a Church of Christ member. SURVIVORS: Husband, Jackson P. Ellis of Snyder; son, Jimmy Nail of Clyde; daughters, Gina Rhodes of Snyder, Renee Norwood of Dunn and Barbara Smith of Odessa; sister, Gladys Skinner of DeSoto; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Victor Looney ADA, Okla. — Victor Nedd Looney, 81, of Ada, Okla., died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at an Ada, Okla., hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Criswell Chapel. Military graveside services will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmund, Okla. Arrangements by Criswell Funeral Home. He was born in Sulphur, Okla. He was an Air Force veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, June Looney of Ada, Okla.; son, Victor Looney Jr. of Pensacola, Fla.; daughter, Lucinda Jameson of Seattle; stepdaughters, Renee McDermott of Dallas and Cherri Knoy of Plano; brother, Hal Looney of Odessa; and eight grandchildren. James Reid PECOS — James Alton Reid, 87, of Pecos, a retired owner of a dry cleaner shop, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Pecos Nursing Home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Mount Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Greer Willis officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home. He was born in Munday and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Baptist. Larry Yarbrough JAL, N.M. — Larry "Butch" Yarbrough, 56, of Jal, N.M., a salesman, died Monday, Aug. 16, 1999, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. G.A. Magee officiating. Burial will be at Jal Cemetery. Arrangements by Calvary Funeral Home. He was born in Paducah and moved to Jal, N.M., in 1983 from Eunice, N.M. He was Methodist.
