September 03, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices R.J. Hatmaker BONHAM — R.J. "Pete" Hatmaker, 72, of Milburn, Okla., died at Veterans Hospital in Bonham. Private services were held. Arrangements by Clark Funeral Service of Tishomingo, Okla. He was born in Maud, Okla., and moved to Johnson County from Odessa in 1992. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS: Wife, Hope Hatmaker of Milburn, Okla.; daughters, Patsy A. Jackson, Edna King and Kathy Fowler, all of Odessa and Alice McGuinness of Los Alamos, N.M.; sisters, Aline Jordan of Eufaul, Okla., and Jo Jordan of St. Louis, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Leona Stewart MONAHANS — Leona Stewart, 77, of Monahans, retired owner of an H&R Block branch in Pecos, died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at Ward Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harkey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Skaggs officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home. She was born in Arden. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jackie Flournoy of Midland, Marge Kingston of Abilene and Lisa Stewart of Monahans; stepson, Jack Stewart of Grand Prarie; brother, David Pomeroy of Monahans; sisters, Hazel Lowry and Neta Garrett, both of Monahans; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. L.B. Wolfe SEMINOLE — L.B. Wolfe, 79, of Seminole, a retired television repair man, died Monday, Sept. 1, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Gaines County Cemetery South. Arragements by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Tecumseh, Okla., and moved to Seminole in 1940. He was Baptist. SURVIORS: Sons, Eernest Wolfe of El Paso and Jerry Don Wolfe of San Angelo; daughters, Jimmie Kay Sellers of Wichita Falls, Margaret Reed and Karen Wolfe, both of Seminole; and three grandchildren.
