    SEMINOLE — Mary Ellen Davis, 79, of Seminole, a homemaker, died
                Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at Memorial Hospital.
                                      
     Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Gaines County
   Cemetery South with the Rev. Leo Copeland officiating. Arrangements by
                            Boyer Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Spur and moved to Seminole in 1947 from Lamesa. She
                               was Methodist.
                                      
   SURVIVORS: Son, Dan Y. Davis of Seminole; daughter, Mary Sue Davis of
           Sonoma, Calif.; and sister, Connie Havick of Andrews.
                                      
                               La Rue Simmons
                                      
     CRANE — La Rue Simmons, 41, of Crane died Saturday, Sept. 4,
                     1999, at Odessa Regional Hospital.
                                      
           Services are pending with Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
                                      
                              Jasper Williams
                                      
    ODESSA — Jasper Paul Williams, 54, of Odessa died Friday, Sept.
                    3, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
