September 09, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Flake Lambert SEMINOLE — Flake E. Lambert, 87, of Seminole, a custodian, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David Moore officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Cemetery South. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Barber, Ark., and moved to Seminole from Lindsey, Okla., in 1944. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church. SURVIVORS: Wife, Nettie Lambert of Seminole; sons, Ernest Lambert of San Angelo, Randell Lambert of Big Spring and Glen Lambert of Fayetteville, Ark.; daughters, Mary Faye Cooke of Knoxville, Tenn., Coleen Wagner of Waldron, Ark., Aileen Hester, Betty Fisher and Anita Goolsby, all of Seminole, and Mary Meeks of Holliday; brother, Charles Lambert of McFarlen, Calif.; sisters, Mary Measles of Littlefield and Addie Mae Hill of Canyon; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Roger Miller BIG SPRING — Roger Miller, 84, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 1999, at an Odessa hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Nalley-Pickle and Welch Rosewood Chapel. Burial will be at Trinity Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nalley-Pickle and Welch Funeral Home. He was born in Big Spring and was a lifelong resident. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. SURVIVORS: Son, Larry Miller of Midland; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Bartolo Sanchez TOYAH — Bartolo Lopez Sanchez, 74, of Toyah, a farmer, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. today at St. Emily’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Toyah Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home in Pecos. He was born in Candelaria and was a lifelong resident of Toyah. He was a veteran of the Army. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, Jesus Sanchez and Bartolo Sanchez Jr., both of Toyah, and Daniel Sanchez and Domingo Sanchez, both of Odessa; daughters, Paula Sanchez and Elpidia Valdez, both of Toyah, Delma Machuca of Midland and Connie Esparza of Pecos; brothers, Ben Sanchez of Toyah and Ted Chavez of Odessa; sisters, Catalina Salcido of Odessa and Nena Marquez of Odessa; 29 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Ervin Willborn ODESSA — Ervin A. Willborn, 82, of Huntsville, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Curtis Brewer officiating. Burial will be at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Holt and moved from San Angelo to Odessa in 1971. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Son, Robert G.
