Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Eddie Parish officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Gainesville. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Alvin Childers LOOP — Alvin Childers, 79, of Midland, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 1999, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Loop Church of Christ. Burial will be at Loop Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Franklin County, Ala. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
