September 16, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Otho Goyne ODESSA — Otho Goyne, 71, of Odessa, a retired bank courier, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tony C. Henson officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Spur and moved to Odessa in 1971 from Dallas. He was a member of the Four Square Gospel Church. SURVIVORS: Sons, Donald L. Goyne and Tommy L. Goyne, both of Odessa; daughters, Ruth Bryan of Weatherford, Alicea Henson of Tyler and Mary Aleshire of Alvarado; brother, Donald Goyne of Fort Worth; sister, Delores Little of Deer Park; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Sam Thurman RUIDOSO, N.M. — Sam Thurman, 69, of Ruidoso, N.M., retired south regional manager for Fina, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, at his residence. Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Community United Methodist Church with the Rev. Harry Riser officiating. Burial will be at Fort Stanton Cemetery. Arrangements by LaGrone Funeral Chapel. He was born in Lubbock and moved to Ruidoso, N.M., from Big Spring in 1992. SURVIVORS: Wife, Curt Thurman of Ruidoso, N.M.; son, Curtis Thurman of Georgetown; daughter, Cathy Thurman of Ruidoso, N.M.; half brother, R.C.
