Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ron Miner officiating. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Polk County and moved to Odessa in 1948. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Sons, Randy Chandler of Georgetown and Greg Powell of Odessa; sister, Ponell Cockrell of Luling; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. Elmer Fischer KERMIT — Elmer "Al" V. Fischer, 78, of Kermit died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Kermit Cemetery with the Rev. Carroll Kohl officiating. Arrangements by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home. William Puckett William Puckett, 88, of Odessa, a retired employee of the U.S. Post Office, died Saturday, September 18, 1999, in Odessa. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
