September 28, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Helen Cox FORT WORTH — Helen Larkin Cox, 75, of Fort Worth, a retired dental assistant, died Thursday, Sept. 23, 1999, at a Fort Worth Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at West Side Church of Christ. Burial was at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Arrangements by Laurel Land Funeral Home. She was born in Fort Worth and moved from Odessa to Fort Worth in 1994. She was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Husband, Walter Cox of Fort Worth; sons, Larry Stan Cox of Fort Worth and Walter Celous Cox of Athens; brother, Edward Larkin of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Betty Wetsel STANTON — Betty Lou Wetsel, 72, of Tarzan, a retired employee of the Midland Independent School District, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, in Midland. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery with John Snider officiating. Arrangements by Gilbreath Funeral Home. She was born in Wingate. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
