October 01, 1999 Permian Basin Death Notices Pearl Bisbee ANDREWS — Pearl L. Bisbee, 82, of Andrews, a retired teacher, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, at Permian General Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Andrews North Cemetery with the Rev. H.A. Hanks officiating. She was born in Eastland County and moved to Andrews from Cisco in 1957. SURVIVORS: Son, Mike Bisbee of Houston; daughter, Cheryle Cox of Monahans; brother, Archie Lamb of Arlington; sisters, Mildred Ramsey of Port Lavaca, Mae White and Bessie White, both of Austin; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. W.J. Brown Jr. ODESSA — W.J. Brown Jr., 83, of Odessa, a retired Gulf Oil employee, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, in Memphis, Tenn. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. Don Fankhauser officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. He was born in Pampa. He attended Antioch Christian Church. SURVIVORS: Sons, David Brown of Round Rock and Marvin Brown of Memphis, Tenn.; daughter, Joyce Heady of Salt Lake City, Utah. John James SULPHUR SPRINGS — John Garner James, 63, of Sulphur Springs, an oilfield worker, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at West Oaks Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Mike Burge officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Yoakum County Cemetery in Plains. Arrangements by West Oaks Funeral Chapel. He was born in Dickens County. He was an Army veteran. SURVIVORS: Wife, Tommy Jan Sims of Sulphur Springs; sons, Jeff Zearl of Midland and Ty Martin of Montgomery; brothers, Jim A. James of Odessa, Bill James of Mansfield and Joe James of Brownwood; sisters, Odell Houghton of Duncan, Okla., and Marciel McAltin of Abilene; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Mary Kincheloe ODESSA — Mary Leora Kincheloe, 65, of Colorado City, a retired manager at Tide Air, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born in Medina, and had lived in Odessa for 40 years.
