Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Gordon Cox officiating. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home. She was born in Monahans and was a lifelong resident. SURVIVORS: Son, Oney Cox of Gatesville; daughter, Melody Taylor of Monahans; brothers, Bill Harvick of Midland and Elmer Harvick of San Angelo; sisters, Delores Young of Vidor, Betty Smith of Monahans and Glenda Coles of Colorado City, Colo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Jack Hickey CRANE — Jack Hickey, 77, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, at the Crane County Care Center. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Crane County Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Parker officiating. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Home. Hickey was born in Wise County. He was a member of the First Christian Church. Jesusa Hollowell ODESSA — Jesusa Mary Aleman Hollowell, 82, of Odessa, a licensed vocational nurse, died Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at her residence. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church with Bishop Alan Pitt officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Yorktown. She moved to Odessa in 1951 from Cuero. SURVIVORS: Sons, Santiago Aleman, Ray Aleman, J.D. Aleman and Richard Aleman, all of Odessa, Robert Aleman of Austin, Frank Aleman Jr. of Barstow, Calif., Alfred Aleman of Dallas; daughters, Susie Ash and Mary Ann Gahagan, both of Odessa, Betty Bdge of Midland; brother, Leonardo Molina of Platteville, Colo., and Santiago Molina of Odessa; sisters, Clara Arredondo, Dominga Dirckson and Viola Jacobo, all of Odessa; 28 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Manuel Tavarez KERMIT — Manuel Tavarez, 69, of Kermit, a Winkler County laborer, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Kermit Cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel. He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and had lived in Kermit for 45 years. He was Catholic. Johnnie Canaday ODESSA — Johnnie Lee "Cowboy" Canaday, 64, of Odessa, died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
