Wilson Funeral Directors She was born in Roby and moved to Odessa in 1971 from New Orleans. SURVIVORS: Husband, Lloyd Brazeal of Odessa; son, Larry V. Gist of Midland; stepsons, Jim Brazeal of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Daniel Brazeal of Odessa; sister, Joveda Jackson of New Orleans; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Vida Birmingham ODESSA — Vida Christine Birmingham, 93, of Odessa, a seamstress, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Mount Ida, Ark. She was Methodist. SURVIVORS: Granddaughter, Donna Byrd of Odessa. Felix Guevara SEMINOLE — Felix S. Guevara, 86, of Seminole, a farmer, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 1999, at University Medical Center in Lubbock after a lengthy illness. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. John Casey officiating. Burial will be at Gaines County Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Candelaria and moved to Seminole in 1985 from Fort Stockton. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Wife, Everarda Guevara of Seminole; son, Santos Guevara of Seminole; brother, Otilio Guevara of Mexico; sisters, Francisca Guevara of Phoenix and Paula Guevara of Presidio; and four grandchildren. Amanda Nuckols ODESSA — Amanda Nuckols, 98, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at her residence. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Kermit Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Fickenscher officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. She was born in Milan County and lived in Kermit for 50 years before moving to Odessa in 1994. She was Lutheran. SURVIVORS: Sons, Marvin Doss of Odessa; brother, Lonnie Henniger of San Angelo; sister, Mamie Pfeiffer of San Angelo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Rosa Pearson ODESSA — Rosa L. Pearson, 91, of Odessa died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church with the Revs. John Casey and Ramon Almager officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will be at Gaines County Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Mexico and moved to Seminole from Alpine in 1965. He was Catholic.
