She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Son, Tommy Bascom of Grandbury; three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Manuel Hernandez MONAHANS— Manuel Hernandez, 95, of Monahans, a retired city employee, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, at Odessa Medical Center Hospital. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Roberto Alvarado officiating. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m., Monday at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Monahans Cemetery. He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic. Rafael Pineda, Sr. KERMIT— Rafael Pineda, Sr., 54, of Kermit, a laborer, died Saturday, Oct. 9, at his home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Kermit Cemetery. He was born in El Mulato, Mexico. He was Catholic.
