Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Christian Church with the Rev. David Mindel officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home. She was born in Wichita Falls and moved to Odessa in 1947. She was a member of First Christian Church. SURVIVORS: Husband, W.D. "Mooch" Bates of Odessa; son, Larry Bates of Odessa; daughter, Denise Livingston of Lakeway; and four grandchildren. Leland Casteel Sr. WINK — Leland C. Casteel Sr., 83, of Wink, a retired automobile mechanic, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wink Church of Christ with Tommy Williamson and Jerry Palmer officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Verdel, Neb. Stephen McKenzie FORT STOCKTON — Stephen C. McKenzie, 44, of Fort Stockton, a chorale music director, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry Krueger and K.C. Ketter-Black officiating. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery. McKenzie of Lago Vista. Norman Paxson ODESSA — Norman E. Paxson, 79, of Odessa, a retired employee of Halliburton, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel with the Rev. S.F. Timmerman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Botkinburg, Ark., and moved to Odessa from Ada, Okla., in 1955. He was a Navy veteran.
