Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Martinez officiating. Arrange-ments by Martinez Funeral Home. He was born in Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Sons, Salvador Chavez Jr. and Daniel Chavez, both of Odessa; daughters, Gracie Chavez and Yesenia Chavez, both of Odessa, and Daise Chavez of Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Fernando Chavez of Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico; sisters, Graciela Chavez and Irma Chavez, both of Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico, and Letty Chavez of Mexico City; and six grandchildren. Helen Kearley CORSICANA — Helen Joy Kearley, 65, of Corsicana, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, at her residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Cecil May Jr., Les Ferguson, Neil Anderson, Ferman Carpenter and Gary Kirkendall officiating. Opal Walton ODESSA — Opal Walton, 84, of Odessa, a retired employee of West Side Upholstery, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at an Odessa nursing home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Griffin Jones officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home. She was born in Collin County and she moved to Odessa in 1945 from Sweetwater. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Peggy Inman of Alamogordo, N.M., and Glenda Heath of Odessa; sisters, Buna Collier and Alene Monday, both of Odessa; brother, Hollis Carman of Palestine; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Arthur Yarbrough EARLY — Arthur Yarbrough, 72, of Lake Brownwood, a carpenter, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, at a Brownwood hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Heartland Funeral Home with Tommy Hart and Vance Rodgers officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Brown County. Arrangements by Heartland Funeral Home. He was born in Stonewall County and moved to Lake Brownwood in 1985 from Andrews. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Wife, Marguerite Yarbrough of Lake Brownwood; son, Jerry R. Yarbrough of Fort Davis; daughters, Patsy Waid of Cedar Park and Nancy Swan of Sweetwater; sister, Gwen Claxton of Colorado City; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
