    SHEFFIELD — Johnnye Holmes, 92, of Sheffield, died Sunday, Nov.
                          28, 1999, in Sheffield.
                                      
     Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Sheffield Church of Christ
     with the Jimmy Jividen and Mac Denver officiating. Arrangements by
                        Richard W. Box Funeral Home.
                                      
    She was born in Sheffield and was a member of the Church of Christ.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Daughter, Alicia Sconiers of Iraan; son, Harry Holmes of
          Sanderson; six grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
                                      
                                William Read
                                      
    ODESSA — William "Bill" Amos Read, 61, of Odessa, died Sunday,
                 Nov. 28, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
                                      
   Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the
    Rev. Don Kennedy officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral
                                   Home.
                                      
   He was born in Abilene and was a member of the Morning Star Fellowship
                                  Church.
                                      
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Joyce Read of Odessa; sons, Christopher Read of
     Amarillo, Anthony McMillian of Odessa, Greg McMillian of Issaque,
     Wash.; daughter, Nettie McMillian of Odessa; mother, Ester Polk of
   Odessa; sisters, Edna Read of Las Cruces, N.M., Catherine Houghton of
                         Taft; and 2 grandchildren.

    ODESSA — Sara Ruse, 71, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999,
                                 in Odessa.
                                      
   Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens
    with the Rev. Bruce Troy officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly
                               Funeral Home.
                                      
                   She was born in Troup and was Baptist.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Husband, Carl Ruse Sr. of Odessa, sons, Bob Ruse of Walla
   Walla, Wash., and David Ruse and Bill Ruse, both of Odessa; daughter,
                   Carol Pinkston; and 11 grandchildren.
                                      
                               Jesus Sanchez
                                      
    ODESSA — Jesus Sanchez, 52, of Odessa, died Saturday, Nov. 27,
                              1999, in Odessa.
                                      
    Rosary will be said 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will
    be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with
   the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill
              Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
                                      
              He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico and was Catholic.
                                      
    SURVIVORS: Mother, Maria Sanchez of Odessa; sisters, Gloria Gonzalez
    of Odessa, Ernestina Armigo of Seminole; brothers, Ramon Sanchez and
                      Arturo Sanchez, both of Odessa.
                                      
                               Ethel Stockton
                                      
   Ethel Stockton, 85, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at Medical
                              Center Hospital.
                                      
       Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Frank W. Wilson Funeral
     Directors Chapel with the Rev. Roy Smalling officiating. Interment
      will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W.
                         Wilson Funeral Directors.
                                      
    She was born in Childress and was a member of the Church of Christ.
                                      
       SURVIVORS: Son, Jack Stockton of Odessa; brother, J. B. Hix of
          Lubbock; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
