      ODESSA — Maria C. Garcia, 97, of Odessa, a homemaker, died
             Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
      Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s
    Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary
    will said be at 7 p.m. today and Wednesday at Martinez Funeral Home
   Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez
                               Funeral Home.
                She was born in Presidio. She was Catholic.
      SURVIVORS: Sons, Valentin C. Garcia, Jose C. Garcia and Jesus C.
   Garcia, all of Odessa; daughters, Tomas C. Barrientes and Senoriana C.
   Cruz, both of Odessa, and Apollonia C. Garcia of Richardson; brothers,
    Urbano Calderon and Elias Calderon, both of Midland; sister, Rosa C.
   Hernandez, of Presidio; 36 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and
                       10 great-great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                John Germany
       CALDWELL — John Clark Germany, 71, of Caldwell, a retired
            accountant, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, in Caldwell.
    Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Strickland Funeral Home with the
    Rev. Cecil Lang officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. today at Holt
   Cemetery in Richland Springs. Arrangements by Strickland Funeral Home.
                           He was born in Bowser.
     SURVIVORS: Wife, LaNette Germany of Caldwell; sons, Allyn Gregory
        Germany, of Del Rio, Sammy Clark Germany of Kenner, La., and
    Christopher Clark Germany of Austin; daughters, Laura La Juan Crimes
   of Shreveport, La., and Delilah DeLeon and Kathryn Ametia Carter, both
   of Caldwell; brothers, Will F. German of Yuma, Ariz., Jason H. Germany
      Jr. of Seattle, Wash., Charles N. Germany of El Paso and Rodney
     Germany of Rising Star; sisters, Dorothy Pruell of Odessa and Mary
      Marble of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
                                      
                                Jimmy Myers
   SEMINOLE — Jimmy Myers, 68, of Seminole, a restaurant owner, died
          Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
     Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Community Chapel with the
   Revs. Art Hollingsworth and Floyd Haddock officiating. Burial will be
                      at Gaines County Cemetery South.
     Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home. He was born in Burnet. He was
                                  Baptist.
      SURVIVORS: Wife, Bettye Myers of Seminole; son, Billye Robins of
                       Seminole; and one grandchild.
                                      
                                 Anita Roe
     ODESSA — Anita R. Roe, 26, of Hockley, a social worker, died
                   Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, in Houston.
   Services will be at 1 p.m. today at St. James Baptist Church with the
    Rev. R.T. McNeil officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
              Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Home of Houston.
                          She was born in Denver.
   SURVIVORS: Father, Joe Roe, of Aurora, Colo.; mother, Juanita Roe, of
                                  Hockley.
                                      
                               Loretta Socha
   ALPINE — Loretta Socha, 90, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Sunday,
                  Dec. 19, 1999, at a local nursing home.
    Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elm Grove Cemetery
                 with the Rev. Walter W. Esch officiating.
                   Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
    She was born in Worchester, Mass., and has been a resident of Alpine
            since 1945. She was a member of the Assembly of God.
                  SURVIVOR: Son, John Hagland, of Devine.
                                      
                              Rolanda Williams
    ODESSA — Rolanda Williams, 33, of Odessa, died Sunday, Dec. 19,
                     1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
