January 1, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ E.W. "Elzo" Hutton ODESSA -- E.W. "Elzo" Hutton, 81, of Odessa, died Dec. 31, 1998 at his residence. He was born April 20, 1917 in Fort Sumner, NM. He married Ida Leach April 21, 1946 in Brownfield. Services will be held at 4 p.m., Sat. Jan. 2, 1999 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Revs. Johnny Young and Ron Myner officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Mr. Hutton came to Odessa in 1951 from Brownfield. He owned Hutton Wheel Alignment from 1957-1984. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in WWII in the 3rd Armored Division, Engineering Dept. Mr. Hutton was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Ida Hutton of Odessa: Son, Glynn E. Hutton of Odessa. Daughter, Gaile E. Robinson of Dickens: Brothers: Burl Hutton of Durango, Mexico and Willard Hutton of' Cisco: Sisters: Mildred Gatlin of Doddridge, AR and Lois Cox of Dickens, Grandchild, Aaron Hutton of Odessa and Great Grandchild, Alexis Hutton of Odessa. _________________________________________________________________ Isidora Tavares Gonzales ODESSA -- Mass for Isidora Tavares Gonzales, 75, of Odessa will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Luis Zepeda officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Gonzales died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born April 4, 1923, in Presidio to Cruz and Hilaria Tavares. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Velia Gonzales; a sister, Margarita Gonzales, and a brother, Juan Tavares. Mrs. Gonzales was a housewife and a Catholic. Survivors include her husband, Francisco Gonzales of Odessa; sons, Sipriano Gonzales, David Gonzales, Reimundo Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales, and Raul Gonzales, all of Odessa, and Oscar Gonzales of San Angelo; a daughter, Linda G. Herrera of Odessa; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ Catarino Cuellar ODESSA -- Mass for Catarino Cuellar, 83, of Odessa will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Frank Chavez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 2-3, 1999, at Martinez Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Martinez Funeral Home. Mr. Cuellar died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1998, in Odessa. He was born April 15, 1915, in Ocampo, Mexico, to Guadalupe Rodriguez and Jose Cuellar. Mr. Cuellar worked in the oilfield industry and was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Soledad Cuellar of Odessa; four sons, Horacio Cuellar, Ignacio Cuellar, Carlos Cuellar and Jose Luis Cuellar, all of Odessa; two daughters, Juana Estrada and Rosa Maria Cuellar, both of Odessa; one sister, Genoveva Cuellar of Odessa; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ Copyright © 1999.
