January 19, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Dominique Baeza SAN ANTONIO, Mexico -- Catholic graveside services for Dominique Baeza, 1, of Odessa will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Thursday at Cementerio San Antonio del Bravo with the Rev. Guadalupe Jimenez officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and Wednesday at Martinez Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 6, 1998, in Odessa to Margaret Navarrete and Quintin Baeza. He was Catholic. Survivors include his parents, Quintin and Margaret Baeza of Odessa; brothers, Francisco N. Baeza of Odessa, Christian Baeza of Austin and Quintin Baeza IV of Clovis, N.M.; sisters, Myrayma Baeza of Clovis, N.M., and Maria E. Baeza of Odessa; grandparents, Francisco and Margaret Navarrete of Monahans, Quintin Baeza Sr. and Maria Baeza of Odessa; and numerous aunts and uncles. Funeral arrangements are by Martinez Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ Ella "Marie" Moffett SNYDER -- Services for Ella "Marie" Moffett, 75, of Snyder, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marty Akins officiating. Burial will be in Snyder Cemetery. Mrs. Moffett died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. She was born June 15, 1923, in Snyder. She married Bishop P. Moffett Sept. 12, 1941, in Lubbock. Mrs. Moffett was a homemaker and a retired nursery coordinator for First Baptist Church for more than 20 years. She was preceded in death by her son, Maxie Maurice Moffett, in 1947. Survivors include her husband, Bishop "Boe" P. Moffett Jr. of Snyder; son, Ferris K. Moffett of Lubbock; daughters, Arettus A. Sullivan of Snyder and Barbara J. Moffett of Abilene; Naomi Nadine Slack of Snyder; grandsons, K. Evan Moffett of Annapolis, Md., and Jason M. Sullivan of Odessa; and a granddaughter, Megan B. Price of Odessa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
