February 17, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Services for William Charles Hanes, 80, of Odessa are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel with Father Fry officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home, Angeles Memorial Chapel. Mr. Hanes died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Athens, Alabama. He married Eleanor Maggiano on Sept. 19, 1969. Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Hanes of Odessa; sons, Douglas Hanes and wife Judy, Donald Hanes and wife Paula, all of Odessa; daughters, Kathy Henderson and husband Ronnie, Linda Eaton, all of Odessa; 25 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Eddie McPherson; stepchildren, James Scowden and wife Dena, Diane Johnson and husband Dearl, Susie Alton Hatcher and Jenie McKee. Pallbearers are Kenth McPherson, Bill Ray, Steven Garrett, Terry Eaton, Toby Eaton and Gary Hanes. _________________________________________________________________ Concepcion Amancio Ontiveros ODESSA -- Mass for Concepcion Ontiveros, 72, will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home, Angeles Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Odessa Funeral Home Chapel, Angeles Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Ontiveros died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. She married Jose Ontiveros Sept. 16, 1948, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. She devoted all of her time with her children and loved her Bingo. Survivors include her husband, Jose Ontiveros of Odessa; sons, Manuel Ontiveros, Joe Ontiveros, Raul Ontiveros, Sammy Ontiveros, all of Odessa; daughters, Gracie Sanchez, Josie Moore, Delma Gomez, Lillie Ontiveros, Rosa Salcido, and Ava Villerreal, all of Odessa; 31 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
