March 10, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Jenna (Jay) Aley Wilson, 75, of Odessa died Monday, March 8, 1999, in Odessa. She was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Norton. She moved to Odessa from San Angelo in 1955 and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and member of the Northside Senior Citizens Center who enjoyed dancing and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Aley in 1976; and married OdeIl Wilson Nov. 22, 1978, in Odessa. Survivors include her husband, OdeIl Wilson of Odessa; son, Danny Aley of Odessa; daughters, Sandra Powell of Plano and Lesa Benton of Midland; grandchildren, Janet, Julie, and Jennifer Shreiner and Rachel and Daniel Benton. She is also survived by sisters; Thelma Overman of Levelland, Katherine Patterson of Stephenville and Virginia Tomlin of Galveston; stepdaughter, Nanette Idell of McCamey; and stepson, Warren Wilson of Midland. Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kevin Strempke officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Hillger, 80, of Odessa died Monday, March 8, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born April 3, 1918 in Andrews to Edward and Annette Shields. She was a 1935 graduate of Odessa High School and Methodist. She married George Hillger, June 3, 1954, in Lovington, N.M. Her son, Bobby Webster, preceded her in death Jan. 20, 1956. Survivors include her husband, George Hillger of Odessa; and stepson, George Hillger III. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Todd officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. _________________________________________________________________ Zelma Ruth Tellez ODESSA -- Services for Zelma Ruth Tellez, 65, of Odessa, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Jim Ray Brown officiating. Mrs. Tellez died Monday, March 8, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Bronte. She married Abel Tellez in 1981 in Odessa. Mrs. Tellez was a homemaker.
