Permian Basin Obituaries

   PETREY,  Ala. -- Mark Mitchell, 70, of Riverdale, Ga., went to be with
   our Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 1999.
   
   Gravesides  services  were  held at Smith's Chapel Cemetery in Petrey,
   Ala.
   
   Survivors  include  his  wife,  Mary  Hamm Mitchell of Riverdale, Ga.;
   daughters,  Tommie  Taylor  of Riverdale, Ga., and Helen Swertfager of
   Hiram,  Ga.;  sons,  Mickey  Mitchell  and  James  Mitchell,  both  of
   Jonesboro,  Ga.,  Marvin Mitchell of Mobile, Ala., and Johnny Mitchell
   of  Odessa;  15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Glenda
   Cannon  of  Odessa;  Louise Morgan of Andalusia, Ala., and Beaulah Mae
   Smith  of  Mobile,  Ala.;  brothers,  Billy  Mitchell of Eufala, Ala.,
   Everette Mitchell and Ervin Mitchell, both of Odessa.
   
   Arrangements by Skeen Funeral Home in Troy, Ala.
   
   Many thanks to the family and friends for flowers and prayers.
