May 26, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Norma Jo Norrell, 67, of Odessa, died Sunday, May 23, 1999, at Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born May 25, 1931 in Vernon. She married A.C. Norrell Sept. 4, 1948 in Vernon. Mrs. Norrell moved to Odessa in 1951 from Vernon. She was a homemaker and a member of Crescent Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband A.C. Norrell of Odessa; sons, Bruce Norrell of Houston and Don Norrell of Odessa; daughter, Leisa Lewis of Edmond, Okla.; sisters, Louise Jenkins of Clayton, N.M., Allene Knight of Lubbock and Jimmie Sue Jones of Hobbs, N.M.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Johnson, 85, of Odessa, died Saturday, May 22, 1999, at his residence. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Belmont Baptist Church with the Rev. Rex Clayton officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born June, 11, 1913 in Kaufman County. He married Florence Ingram Aug. 1, 1975. Mr. Johnson has lived in Odessa since 1945. He was co-founder of Johnson Brothers Oil Co. He was a member and deacon at Belmont Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Florene Johnson of Odessa; sons, Jack Johnson of Midland and Bill Johnson of Burnet; daughter, Doris Nichols of Odessa; step-daughter, Flo Nell Ingram of Odessa; brother, Herbert Johnson of Odessa; sisters, Bernice Meeks of Bakersfield, Calif., and Louise Bible of Cleburne; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
