Permian Basin Obituaries

   Irma  Stacy,  99,  of  Odessa  passed away Friday, June 11, 1999, in a
   local hospital.
   
   Mrs.  Stacy  was  born March 21, 1900 in Glenrose, Texas. She moved to
   Odessa  in 1909 and was an early member of The First Christian Church,
   Disciples  of  Christ.  She  worked  for  many  years  in  the  ladies
   department  at  The  Model  Shop.  She  was  preceded  in death by her
   daughter  Mary  Laura Bowers in 1977, and her son Perry C. Stacy, Jr.,
   in  1993,  and  four brothers Miles Jones, Ewell Jones, Evan Jones and
   Paul Jones.
   
   She  is survived by her daughter-in-law Delores "Dee" Stacy of Odessa;
   five grandchildren, Carl Bowers, Jr., Ewell Bowers, Mary Taylor, Sheri
   Robin  and  Teri  Steen;  19  great grandchildren and five great-great
   grandchildren.
   
   Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 14, 1999 in
   the   Hubbard-Kelly   Funeral   Home  Chapel  with  Dr.  Tommy  Potter
   officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
   
   Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
