June 24, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Ernest Henry Haupt, 80, of Odessa, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital after being ill for three years. He was born January 25, 1919, in Germany to Rudolph and Alma Haupt. He married Lavada Seals April 20, 1949, in Ballinger. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Don Hafemann officiating. Interment will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Lutheran Cemetery in Winters. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Haupt graduated from Winters High School and served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He was employed by C.L. Green and Moore Plumbing. He retired in 1982 as a custodian from Winters High School. He moved to Odessa in 1985 from Winters. He was a member of AARP for 14 years, Redeemer Lutheran Church and Northside Senior Citizens, where he helped serve lunch and did other jobs. He was a loving husband and was devoted to his wife for 50 years. He loved all of his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Ida Nailing, in 1996. He is survived by his wife, Lavada Haupt of Odessa; brother, Hubert Haupt of Tuscola; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Robert Dale "Bobby J" Jennings, 42, of Odessa, died Monday, June 21, 1999, in Odessa. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel. He was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Duncan, Okla. Survivors include his wife, Pam Jennings of Odessa; sons, Shane Jennings and wife, Lindy, Chad Cottrell and Shannon Cottrell, all of Odessa; mother, Pauline Jennings of Duncan, Okla.; brother, Rodney Jennings of Odessa; sisters, Jan Otwell and Rolana Womack, both of Odessa, and Questa Morgan of Quinlan; grandmother, Peral Duvall of Duncan, Okla.; and five grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ Patricia Ann Haynie ODESSA -- Patricia Ann Haynie, 54, of Odessa, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Memorial Hospital & Medical Center in Midland. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Porterfield officiating. She was born Nov. 23, 1944, in Fort Benning, Ga., and has lived in Odessa since 1981. She was a sales associate for Wal-Mart. She was the best grandmother to her one and only grandchild, Trevor Wilson. She was Lutheran. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Virginia Nobs. Survivors include her daughter, Cricket Wilson and husband, Lane, of Odessa; brother, Richard Nobs and wife, Kathy, of Midland; sister, Dorothy Welker and husband, Jerry, of Beavercreek, Ohio; and grandson, Trevor Wilson. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Chapel. _________________________________________________________________ Lillie Mae Wade ODESSA -- Lillie Mae Wade, 78, of Odessa, a retired manager, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Pete Daughtry officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. She was born March 3, 1921, in Pottsboro and had lived in Odessa for 51 years. She retired as a manager of 7-Eleven after 15 years. She liked to read. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Wade; son, Billy Joe Wade; and father, Joseph Keeler.
