   Vesta F. Jones
   
   MCALESTER,  Okla.  --  Vesta  F. Jones, 88, of Arlington, a homemaker,
   passed away in Fort Worth on Saturday, July 10, 1999.
   
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Madison C. "Buck" Jones.
   
   Mrs.  Jones  was  born  April 29, 1911, in McCurtain, Okla., and was a
   longtime  resident  of  Odessa before moving to Arlington in 1989. She
   was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
   
   Graveside  services  were  Tuesday  at  Oak  Hill Cemetery, McAlester,
   Okla., with the Rev. James Herman officiating.
   
   Survivors:  Son,  Mike  Jones  and  his  wife,  Brenda,  of Arlington;
   daughter,  Joycette  Griffis  and  her  husband,  David, of Arlington;
   grandchildren,  Kevin  R.  Griffis  and his wife, Jennifer, of Irving,
   Madison  K.  Griffis  of  Dallas,  Julie Christina Jones of Arlington;
   nieces  and  nephew,  Mary Hall of Florida, Reta Bailie of California,
   Ellen  Herman  of  Tennessee and Mansford Moon of Floresville; cousin,
   Darlene Horton of Crebs, Okla.
