Permian Basin Obituaries

   Adam Joseph-Lane Cherry, 19, of Odessa, died Sunday, July 18, 1999.
   
   Services  are  scheduled  for 10 a.m. today in the Pipkin Funeral Home
   Chapel  with the Rev. Norman Owens of the Faith Tabernacle Assembly of
   God  officiating.  Burial  will  follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Rock
   Creek  Cemetery  in Glen Rose. Arrangements are under the direction of
   Pipkin Funeral Home & Chapel.
   
   Adam  was  born  in  Phoenix, Ariz. He worked as a handyman in general
   construction.
   
   Mr.  Cherry  is  survived  by his wife, Samantha Cherry of Odessa; his
   parents, Ethel and Sam Cherry of Odessa; grandparents, Laura Cherry of
   Midland  and  Helen  Brantley  of  Spiro,  Okla.;  two brothers, James
   Copeland  of  Florida  and  Brandon Cherry of Odessa; and six sisters,
   Tonya  Burrows  of  Spiro, Okla., Darla Linch and Beckey Mann, both of
   Glen  Rose,  Lisa  Akers,  Lori  Scott  and Stephanie Campbell, all of
   Odessa.
