September 17, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- William Jackson "Jack" Sullivan, 80, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999, in Abilene. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eisenhower Church of Christ with Garry Sullivan and Dwight Whitsett officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland. He was born to John Robert "Pete" Sullivan and Sallie Virginia (Mallett), Feb. 26, 1919, in Amarillo. He married Jessie Bernice Williams May 27, 1941, in Weatherford. She preceded him in death Oct. 6, 1995. Mr. Sullivan was a 54-year resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an oilfield electrical equipment salesman. He was a member of Eisenhower Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 22 years. Survivors include his son, Garry Sullivan and wife, Paullette, of Houston; daughter, Brenda Whitsett and husband, Dwight, of Abilene; sisters, Doris Pate and husband Joe, Gladys Haney and Nita Gibson and husband, Charles, all of Lubbock; grandchildren, Amy Whitesett Hopkins, Angela Sullivan Ondarza, Timothy Whitsett, Justin Whitsett, Nathan Whitsett, Monty Sullivan, Chris Sullivan and Ryan Sullivan; and three great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Reba Dee Wagnon, 85, of Odessa died Sept. 15, 1999, at Avalon Place Nursing Center. She was born Oct. 23, 1913, in May, Texas, to Albert and Molly Lancaster. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Mrs. Wagnon married William Loyce Wagnon on Nov. 22, 1930, in Marietta, Okla. They moved to Odessa in 1950 from May. She worked for several stores in Odessa as a clerk and worked for the church for several years. She loved to entertain her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She liked to do needlework. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister. Mrs. Wagnon is survived by her husband, William L. Wagnon of Odessa; daughter and husband, Joan and Coy Coe of McCamey; sons and wives, Billy and Lynell Wagnon of Odessa and Eddy and Gloria Wagnon of Sunnyvale, Calif.; grandchildren and spouses, Rick and Sandy Coe, Alan and Kim Coe, Cyndi and Pat Cole, Cheri and Joel Dewbre; great-grandchildren, Seth Coe, Sara Coe, Garrett Dewbre and Rebecca Cole.
