September 29, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ Feliciana M. Loya ODESSA -- "To our beloved mother and grandmother who gave so much to the very end. She leaves behind a large family who loves her very much. Her spirit will always be with us and her love will be our strength." Feliciana M. Loya, 90, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Thursday. She was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Medina; mother, Viviana Espinoz; and husband, Perfecto Loya. She was born Dec. 15, 1908, in Chihuahua, Mexico, and has lived in Odessa for 31 years. She was Catholic. Survivors include her sons, Miguel Loya and Benito Loya, both of Odessa, and Nicolas Loya of Chihuahua, Mexico; daughters, Ofelia Rivas of Van Horn, Rafaela Hernandez and Silvina Pinon, both of Odessa; 41 grandchildren; 105 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ Guadalupe G. "Lupe" Castillo ODESSA -- Guadalupe G. "Lupe" Castillo, 101, of Odessa, died Monday, Sept. 27, 1999, at Avalon Place. Services will be in Sabinas, Mexico. Burial will be at Panteon Municipal. She was born in Mexico and later became a United States citizen. A Baptist Church in Mexico will take charge of the burial arrangements. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Martinez Funeral Home. Survivors include her sons, Carlos Castillo and Inez Castillo of New Orleans, La., and Querido Castillo and Jean Castillo of Tallahassee, Fla.; daughter, Omega Litton of Odessa; brothers, Enrique Guadiana and Daniel Gaudiana, both of Mexico; sister, Trinita Larralde of Sabinas, Mexico; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ Copyright © 1999 Odessa American.
