   Linda Jo Rushing
   
   ODESSA  --  Linda Jo Rushing, 52, of Odessa, a loving wife, mother and
   grandmother, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at 6:45
   p.m. She was born Feb. 15, 1947, in Artesia, N.M.
   
   She  married Ken Rushing in Roswell, N.M. They lived in Roswell, N.M.,
   from 1973 to 1983 and moved to Odessa in 1991 from Monahans. She was a
   homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.
   
   Survivors  include  her  husband,  Ken  Rushing  of Odessa; son, Scott
   Palmer of Brownwood; daughter, Tammy Urias of Odessa; brother, "Howdy"
   Geurin of Roswell, N.M.; and two grandchildren.
   
   There are no services scheduled at this time.
   
   Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
   
   Services are entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
