October 22, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Janie Lorene Allison, 68, of Odessa, died Oct. 19, 1999, in Shreveport, La. She was born March 13, 1917, in Falls County. She married Ellison S. Allison Dec. 11, 1939, in Seminole. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Rev. Robert Fletcher officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Mrs. Allison moved to Odessa in 1947 from Seminole. She was a homemaker and a member of Grandview Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellison Allison, July 7, 1988. She is survived by her sons, Larry G. Allison of Carlsbad, N.M., and Jerry Wayne Allison of Midland; daughter, Patricia Ann Wilson of Shreveport, La.; sisters, Betty Lou Stroope of Waxahachie and Claudetta Ashinhurst of Jacksboro; brother, Charles A. "Jack" Warnecke of Kermit; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Kayden Todd McDonald, infant son of Todd and Michelle McDonald, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Odessa Regional Hospital. He was born Oct. 19, 1999. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Jack Oden officiating. Arrangements are by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Kayden is survived by his parents, Todd and Michelle McDonald of Odessa; grandparents, Larry and Sheila Pendleton of Odessa, Nick and Diane Pappas of North Carolina, and Al and B.J. McDonald of Odessa; great-grandmother, Mary Pendleton of Odessa; two brothers, Jayson McDonald and Cody Standifer of Odessa; aunts, Kim Easley of Odessa, Jeri Dawn Hebert of Odessa, Heather Huddelston of North Carolina; uncles, Jimmy Pendleton of Odessa, Shawn Byford of Midland, Joey Byford of Lubbock and James Ayers of Odessa. _________________________________________________________________ Jimmie Doyle Morris MIDLAND -- Graveside services for Doyle "JD" Morris, a longtime resident of Odessa, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Family and friends' visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. JD went to be with the Lord Oct. 20, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on April 6, 1910, in Haskell, Okla., and grew up in Broken Arrow, Okla., and Tahlequah, Okla. He worked in mechanical maintenance for Phillips Petroleum Company Western Division for 39 years. He married Bess Roberts Henley in Lovington, N.M., July 8, 1935, and lived in Oil Center, N.M., before moving to the Sprayberry plant in 1952 and then to Odessa in 1956. Bess preceded him in death in July 1986. A son, Frankie Morris, also preceded him in death. Mr. Morris married Gladys Gosnell in January of 1988 and they lived in Tahlequah, Okla., until June 1999, when he returned to Odessa. Survivors included his wife, Gladys, of Tahlequah, Okla.; two sons and their spouses, Jerry and Pat Morris and Jack and Helen Morris, both of Odessa; and one sister, Callye Stowell of Tahlequah, Okla. He is also survived by grandchildren, Clay Self, Cliff Self, Casey Morris, Carlyn Morris, Jimmy Morris, Janette Midkiff; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Templo Alpha Omega with the Rev. Sam Ramirez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home. Public visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home Chapel. He was born July 8, 1925, in Imperial. He was a member of Templo Alpha Omega Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
