December 08, 1999 Permian Basin Obituaries _________________________________________________________________ ODESSA -- Leo A. Goulet, 79, of Odessa, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital. He was born March 1, 1920, in Fall River, Mass. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He married Elizabeth Barboza Sept. 20, 1941, in Fall River, Mass. He was a longtime resident of Odessa having moved his family to Texas in 1957. He was a machinist with Templeton Machine Shop for 21 years retiring in 1981. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Goulet Miller; grandson, Matthew Springer; and a brother, Rene' Goulet. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Goulet of Odessa; sons, Normand Goulet of Odessa and Thomas Goulet and his wife Gloria of Stamford; daughter, Patty Goulet Springer and husband Mike of Odessa; brother, Henry Goulet and his son Skip of Midland; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
