Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crane County Cemetery with Rev. Rick Allen officiating. Arrangements by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. She was born in Gainesville, Texas, and had been a resident of Crane for 19 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. SURVIVORS: Husband, Clifford Goodman of Crane; son, Joel Clifford Goodman of Haltom City; daughter, Julie Dawn Goodman of Lubbock; and three grandchildren. Ladislado Lascano FORT STOCKTON — Ladislado Lascano, 77, of Fort Stockton, retired employee of the City of Fort Stockton, died Monday, Dec. 31, 1999, at his residence. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home. He was born in Presidio and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1953. He was Catholic. SURVIVORS: Wife, Olivia Lascano of Fort Stockton; sons, Ruben Lascano of Del Rio, Ricardo Lascano of Fort Stockton and Abel Lascano of Grand Saline; brother, Felipe Lascano of Odessa; sister, Ursula Hernandez of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Luella Reed GARDNER, Kan. — Luella "Ruth" Keller Reed, 78, of Wellsville, Kan., a retired teacher, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 1999, at Wellsville Manor Nursing Center. Services were Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Bruce Funeral Home. Burial was in Gardner Cemetery. Arrangements were by Bruce Funeral Home. She was born in Gardner, Kan., and had lived in Wellsville since 1984. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Ricks, 86, of Fort Stockton, a retired drug store manager, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, in Fort Stockton. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at East Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Miles officiating. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home. She was born in Des Demonie and moved to Fort Stockton in 1992 from Ajo, Ariz. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Barbara Larremore of Clifton, Ariz., and Darlene Archer of Fort Stockton; sister, Lois Bishop of Sun City, Ariz.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Verna Roe SNYDER — Verna Lee Roe, 83, of Odessa, retired co-owner of Roe’s Furniture in Synder, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital after a lengthy illness. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Miller Robinson and the Rev. Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home. She was born in Melrose, N.M. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Husband, Myron Roe of Odessa; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Lera Roper ODESSA — Lera Roper, 81, of Odessa died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999, at her residence. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Mission Dorado Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crestview Memorial Cemetery in Wichita Falls. She was born in Jack County and moved to Odessa from Wichita Falls in 1961. She was Baptist. SURVIVORS: Husband, Johnnie Roper of Odessa; son, Eddie Roper of Midland; daughter, Gaydene Hickey of Wichita Falls; brothers, Marshall Horn of Jacksboro; sisters, Jewell Fry of Jacksboro and Eunice Filmer of Nashville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
